Despite advanced warehouse management software, stock accuracy in modern logistics often still depends on manual counts and delayed reports. Dexory addresses this gap by treating the warehouse itself as a continuously measurable system. Founded in 2015 originally under the name BotsAndUs and rebranded to Dexory in 2022, the Wallingford-headquartered company develops autonomous robotic solutions designed to capture and analyze warehouse data in real time, with the aim of improving operational transparency and decision-making. Dexory delivers real-time visibility and data intelligence to the logistics industry through autonomous robots and its AI-powered digital twin software platform, DexoryView. This full-stack approach is a key differentiator: Dexory combines both hardware and analytics within a single, integrated ecosystem, bringing together physical data capture and intelligent software in one platform.
Technology and Product
Instead of automating picking or internal transport, Dexory focuses on large-scale data capture. Its core product, DexoryView, combines an autonomous mobile robot with a vertical sensor mast equipped with cameras and LiDAR. As the robot navigates warehouse aisles, it performs high-resolution 3D scans, capturing information on pallet positions, inventory levels, empty locations, and potential discrepancies. This physical data layer is paired with AI-driven analytics that transform raw scans into actionable insights. The software creates a continuously updated digital twin of the warehouse, enabling near real-time visibility without requiring changes to existing infrastructure or layout. According to the company, DexoryView integrates seamlessly with warehouse management systems, allowing operators to compare system data with physical reality.

Industrial Fit and Applications
Large distribution centres and third-party logistics providers operate with tens of thousands of pallet locations, making manual audits slow, disruptive, and often incomplete. Dexory positions its solution for environments where continuous visibility is critical and SKU variability is high. While commonly applied in retail, e-commerce, and logistics warehouses, Dexory’s solution is not limited to these sectors. The company works across 3PLs, manufacturing and automotive, food and beverage, pharma and beauty, as well as air cargo operations. By automating stock checks and spatial measurement across these environments, DexoryView enables more frequent and consistent inventory validation than traditional cycle counting. Improved inventory accuracy can reduce safety stock requirements, limit costly picking errors, and support better space utilisation. As with most data platforms, realised impact depends on warehouse size, process maturity, and how effectively insights are translated into operational action. The underlying premise is continuous, objective measurement supported by automated data capture.
